  • Provides low cost door-to-door transportation to residents 60 or older for medical appointments, religious services, recreational and social events, exercise and academic classes, volunteer and employment obligations, shopping and other day-to-day activities.
  • Owen Brown residents may qualify for discounted service.

  • East Columbia 50+ Center located at 6600 Cradlerock Way, inside the East Columbia Library is the spirit of the baby boomer. Our goal is to a promote a full life for50+ people in Howard County. Empowering our participants with programs , classes and services to keep the mind agile and disease at bay. We encourage involvement in all aspects of life recognizing them as a vital force in the community. We like to think of our center as providing "new stuff" for the aging community from belly dancing to partnering with Howard Community College.
• Owen Brown Senior Center Plus - 7080 Cradlerock Way - (410) 313-7218
  • A supervised four hour social day program for seniors who are interested in fun stimulating structured activities.  Some of the programs include cooking, exercise, arts and crafts, bingo reminscing, intergenerational programs, art therapy and much much more. The program is designed to support the continued independence of the community based older adult.   The daily fee is determined based on the older adult's income.
  • Lunch Program (Monday-Friday) - Reservations Required - Donations in support of the program are request but are not required.
